Southpoint Has A History Of Cheating And Lieing To Thier Customers To Push Profits. They Are So Difficult To Work With That I Do Not Even Purchase My Parts Through Them. Recently I Needed Southpoint To Perform A Simple Computer Program Update, I Called The Service Dept And Even Told Them Who I was And That I Was An Automobile Technician. The Service Advisor Told Me That For A Program Update The Cost Was Not A Flat Rate And Charges Would Be Based On Thier Hourly Rate At $98/hour And This Repair Cost's Anywere From One Hour To ALL Day (8 hours). I Reiterated Who I Was Again And Asked Them Why They Were Pulling This With Someone That Knows Exactly How Long It Takes. They Then Stated Again That There Is No Structured Charge For This And The Charge Would Be $98-$800 For This Repair. I then Told The Service Man To Have A Good Day.
